Job Description

Resource Direct Recruitment is currently recruiting a QA QC Manager for a contract at Saltend Chemical Park, Hull. Approximately 4-6 months work and on offer is a competitive rate.Overview of the QA QC Manager position: To control, manage and provide support for the quality assurance and quality control function.Key Roles and Responsibilities of the QA QC Manager:

  • Will be dealing closely with the client with regards to procedures and proposals.
  • Develop and oversee production of job specific quality plans, ongoing inspections and review / oversee final quality dossiers.
  • Manage, audit and meet compliance of ISO9001 procedures.
  • Production, control and update of weld procedures and welder qualifications.
  • Be proactive to support QA QC personnel and peers within the wider East region business
    • Qualifications and Required Experience:
  • Solid engineering background (preferably of a welding nature) in heavy engineering industries
  • Formal quality audit training
  • Qualified to a minimum of CSWIP 3.2 Welding Inspector
  • PCN Level 2 Rad interpretation.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, guidelines. systems and processes
