With a cluster of world-class chemicals and renewable energy businesses, it’s strategically positioned on the UK’s busiest ports complexand at the forefront of our energy transition plans.The OpportunityDue to our continuing success story, we’re now recruiting an Engineering & Maintenance Manager.In this role you have an amazing opportunity to work in line with business, legislative and client requirements, provide leadership and management of the maintenance and engineering infrastructure to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operation of theplant.Ensure maintenance activities meet and integrate with organisational requirements for quality management, health and safety, legal stipulations, environmental licenses and general duty of care.Ensure clear budgetary costings are developed for each maintenance/engineering activity and are delivered within budget/forecast.Minimum Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in an engineering discipline.
  • Working towards or chartered / equivalent professional status.
  • Experience of leading/managing engineering and maintenance activities within the chemicals, petrochemical, Oil & Gas, renewables, and power generation.
  • Management of projects, outages, audits, surveys and investigations.
  • Fundamental knowledge of Mechanical, EC&I and Electrical engineering compliance and legislation such as ATEX, DSEAR etc.
  • Experience of HAZOPs process
