Job Description

Our client is currently seeking to recruit for a project manager. The role will be focused around working on green field and brown field projects with a CAPEX ranging from £10,000 to £20 million.Duties:

  • Manage of engineering design and EPC(m) projects of various sizes; this can include full-time project management of larger / complex projects to portfolio management of smaller projects.
  • Overall delivery on time in full for responsible projects ensuring the project is delivered to the requirements stipulated within the contract.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of project status and cost reports.
  • Assist in the development of the project schedules with focus on delivery.
  • Accountable for the project change processes ensure all scope change is identified, recorded, communicated, and approved prior to work commencing.
  • Lead and participate in project design reviews including risk workshops. Owning the risk process.
  • Lead teams in designated multi-discipline projects.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of engineering procedures / practises, instructions, standards, guidance documents.
  • Ensure compliance with codes and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to our clients auditing programme, as required.
  • Client relationship management and driving increased customer satisfaction.
  • Support business winning, acting as Proposal Manager.
  • Champion continuous improvements working alongside other site, business departments and partners on agreed actions. Seeking out efficiencies, simplification, and standardisation in project management.
  • Maintain personal competence completing and implementing training and supporting other team members competence development.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experienced working on CAPEX project of up to £20million
  • Full experience working on the entire project life cycle
  • Very good experience working on the entire project life cycle.
