With a cluster of world-class chemicals and renewable energy businesses, it’s strategically positioned on the UK’s busiest ports complexand at the forefront of our energy transition plans.The OpportunityDue to our continuing success story, we’re now recruiting a Control of Work Co-ordinator.In this role you have an amazing opportunity to work as an active member of the Saltend Operations Department, providing consistency of approach, understanding and actions between Operations, E&M, contactors and third parties in planning, implementing andcontrolling safe systems of work processes, procedures and documentation.Minimum Requirements:

  • NVQ 3 equivalent in plant operations / production or equivalent engineering discipline qualification.
  • Working in and contributing to a 24/7 continuous process, production or operations environment.
  • Chemical operations knowledge & experience: operation of valves, pumps, compressors, distillation processes, tank storage, cooling water systems.
  • Preparing, co-ordination, issuing and applying risk assessments, method statements, work packs and permits.
  • Completing site surveys, preparations, isolations, gas testing and scans.
  • Authorised to SAP status.
  • Plant/process shut down & start up in normal /abnormal operations.
