YOUR ROLEDue to an exciting new partnership with a global ecommerce customer based within our new facility in Ryton-on-Dunsmore, where we have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Coordinator where you will support operational teams in daily operational activitieswhilst coordinating a team of warehouse operatives ensuring the movement of goods are carried out in an efficient and effective way,WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DOReporting into the Warehouse Supervisor you will promote a positive health and safety culture by ensuring regulations and processes are adhered to across the operation and that incidents are investigated and followed up within a timely manner. You will proactivelydrive a culture of continuous improvement whilst ensuring work is allocated and carried out to a high standard. You will monitor and report on attendance and performance in collaboration with the Warehouse Supervisor, ensure colleagues attend daily briefingmeetings and that sufficient labour is planned and utilised across the operation and that colleagues are appropriately trained.WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOROur ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Warehouse Team Leader or Coordinator with a strong understanding of warehousing operation, ideally within a 3PL/E.comm environment. You will have experience of coordinating and leading a team of operatives,you will possess excellent communication and engagement skills, able to build strong internal and external relationships. In addition, you will be comfortable operating internal system, such as Microsoft packages including Excel and warehouse management systems.You must be able to work Monday to Friday, 2pm to 10pm with occasional weekend requirements in times of peak periods.WHAT DO WE HAVE TO OFFERWith a genuine culture of reward and recognition, we want our employees to grow, develop and be part of our journey.
