Job Description

Interim Corporate Risk and Assurance £300-400 per day. Mostly Remote Warwick.The CompanyOur client is large local government body with an excellent reputation in its area of expertise. Due to a significant increase in workload they are looking to hire an Interim within Corporate Risk & Assurance DutiesReporting to the Strategic Head of Risk you will have several duties including:

Taking the LEAD on all matters risk and corporate assurance expert on risk management and corporate assurance matters
Champion the organisations desire to embrace risk management and take ownership at a stakeholder level
Determining and continuing the relevant documentation of procedures consolidating into a Risk and Corporate Assurance Framework

What youll need to succeed

Sound understanding of Risk & Corporate Assurance in a Local Government or Public sector environment
A good knowledge of corporate assurance models, for instance, the 3 lines of defence model and their application
Relevant assurance related qualifications
