* Salary £26k to £32k, Study Support, Bonus (to £2k), Study support* Hybrid Working (3 Days Office : 2 days home)* Excellent ProspectsExcellent opportunity for an AAT, Part Qualfiied CIMA/ACCA active studier to join a rapidly expanding Geotechnical/Construction SME based on the outskirts of Liverpool. Joining the business in a new Assistant Management Accountant role, created as a resultof business growth, you will bridge the gap between the Financial Controller (who we placed 2 years ago), and the transactional finance team, working in a varied, all-encompassing MA role, gaining the practical experience required to achieve fully CIMA orACCA qualification. Your remit will include: * Assisting with the preparation of Monthly Management Accounts, Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet (in Sage 200)* Supporting the annual Budgeting & Forecasting process* Variance Analysis - with narrative on business performance* MI (Management Information) and KPI (Key Performance Indicator) reporting* Sales & Margin Analysis* Project Accounting and WIP* Balance Sheet reconciliations* Business Partnering with Operations teams and Budget Holders* Fixed Assets* Assisting with VAT* Bank reconciliations* Accruals & Prepayments* Supporting the FC with the development of a more modern and sophisticated Board pack and reporting suite* Supporting the FC with the development and improvement of financial processes & internal controls.* Supporting the FC with streamlining the month end close scheduleThis is an outstanding opportunity to be mentored by an experienced and inspiration AAT & ACCA qualified Financial Controller who is committed to your personal development and to you achieving full CIMA or ACCA qualification.
