Job Description

ROCKWOOL UK are looking for a Preventative Maintenance Engineer, to join their busy Operations team. Please see details below:Job Purpose & Scope The Preventive Maintenance Engineer will routinely be responsible for driving preventive/predictive maintenance methodology, implementing process improvement, OEE, and advanced predictive methods The Preventive Maintenance Engineer works with the Maintenance Supervisor in developing the scheduled maintenance programs and processes for the production equipment and facility to minimize downtime and maintenance cost.Key Result Areas

  • Decreasing of MAI cost
  • Decreasing of downtime
  • Development of preventive/predictive services, by reducing corrective maintenance
  • Development SAP PM
  • Quality, health & safety, service, continuous improvement, equality & diversity, and policies.
  • Effective relationships with all key stakeholders (include customers internal/external)
    • Key Responsibilities & Job Content
  • For planning maintenance work orders, the repairs, servicing and efficient functioning of all machinery, equipment and facility in the plant.
  • For updating functional location structure in SAP PM
  • For creating task lists and MAI plans for the factory equipment
  • Coach others (engineers, maintenance technicians, and operators) in the performance of Root Cause Analysis.
  • For decreasing corrective maintenance cost by increasing the volume of the preventive jobs
  • Identify skill improvement opportunities and new tools / techniques to improve operating and maintenance results
  • For routine (planned) Maintenance
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to include predictive and preventive maintenance systems (vibration analysis, lubrication oil analysis, motor circuit evaluation, corrosion monitoring, thermography, equipment laser alignment, etc.)
  • Analyse equipment, facility failures and provide solutions to eliminate or extend the time between failures.

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering
  • 3-5 years in maintenance and reliability improvement
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of SAP MM, PM
  • Written and spoken English Language to a high professional business level
  • Provides direction & guidance to a team in a way that leads to optimal results
  • Plans & organises their own work effectively
  • Coach skills
  • Great analytical skills
  • Lean/ continuous improvement qualifications and delivery experience
  • Vibration analysis, lubrication oil analysis, motor circuit evaluation, corrosion monitoring, thermography, equipment laser alignment
  • Reliability Principles and methodologies such as Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Preventative (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM), life cycle cost analysis, Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Risk-Based Inspection
