Every day, ROCKWOOL colleagues are developing and applying new technologies to release yet more potential of stone wool to enrich modern life.Are you passionate about providing top class IT support We are seeking an IT Service Consultant to join the ROCKWOOL Group Global Service Desk team. The role is to provide a Single Point of Contact for end users to receive service, support and operation within the companys computing environment and overall IT Digital Workplace.This is the role:

  • Responsible for providing support to approximately more than 11,000 users located in various locations around the globe;
  • including installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all hardware and equipment (including but not limited to Laptops, Desktops, Tablets, Printers) to ensure optimal workstation performance.
  • providing positive and world class user experience with each user interaction.
  • Assist users with the installation, configuration and ongoing usability of Laptop, Desktop computers, Printers, related IT sanctioned peripherals and software
  • Ensure Laptop/Desktop/Tablets interconnect seamlessly with corporate systems including associated validation systems, file servers, email servers, switches, routers, etc.
  • Resolving and repairing any PC/Windows related issues
  • Responsible for preparing and rolling out new hardware Laptops / Desktops
  • Good working knowledge and demonstrated ability utilizing systems, tools, and procedures to accomplish the job.
  • Assist with IT Asset Management process and maintain hardware inventory
  • Participate in various smaller tasks and projects related to IT support
  • Key Result areas:
  • Meet the SLA targets.
  • Meet KPI’s and productivity targets
  • Continually demonstrate excellent inter-personal and telephone communication skills and takes personal responsibility for own actions
  • Secure the Quality of Asset Management master data
  • Secure the Quality of IT Service Management master data
  • Handle user request/technical issues as per policies and guidelines
  • Comply to the IT processes and SOP
  • This is what you offer:
  • Preferably 2+ years’ experience in global support environment
  • Written and spoken English proficiency
  • Customer Focused; Actively works with customers to identify their needs and comes up with suitable proposals
  • Proficiency in hardware configuration, upgrade, troubleshooting, and repair (desktops, laptops, and peripherals)
  • Proficiency in Windows 10, Office 365, and other desktop software installation, upgrade, troubleshooting and repair
  • Working experience in Active Directory, Exchange account administration, and SCCM
  • Proactive in raising concerns or take initiatives to improve procedures
  • Interest and good understanding of technical IT environments
  • Result oriented; realises goals and intervenes when results are threatened
  • Quality oriented; Balances deliveries between our frames of working and the expectations of the business.
  • Communication skills - Communicates in a language understood by the receiver: makes the complicated simple.
