Job Description

Do you have experience working in a GP practice using Emis. If yes, we would love to hear from you as we have an immediate temporary opportunity working with one of our key customers based in Bolton.What will you be doing as a Medical Receptionist

Registering patients on the Emis systems and following the relevant checks
Speaking with temporary residents and getting them set up on the system to receive the necessary treatment.
Making appointments
To be familiar with clinicians roles within a GP practice and what areas they specialise in
Order and updating prescriptions requests.
Dealing with general enquiries from patients at reception
Actioning forms from patients that need completing by a registered GP
Experienced in using the Emis for all the above and using the system daily.

We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:

Any experience in working in a GP practice.
Working in a busy fast past GP practice
Able to deal with challenging and sensitive situations.
Able to respond quickly to patients requests using the Emis system
Able to accommodate date 5 days per week but part days.
Able to commit to an 8-week assignment
Must have a standard DBS.
