Job Description

Our client, a nationally recognised healthcare company are looking for an agile and creative HR Business Partner to join the team on a 12 month fixed term contract.You will act as a trusted partner to the regional management team to build capability and enable improved performance whether employed colleagues or self-employed clinicians, supporting the team to achieve their plan.Key accountabilities:

  • Trusted advisor to the regional management team, driving the people agenda, supporting the delivery of the business plan and brokering solutions from the HR function
  • Implementation of the Great Place to Work (GPTW) engagement survey
  • Facilitate maintenance of management talent and succession plans using the 9Box grid
  • Cultivate strong relationships across all the people functions
  • Enable the regional management team to be great leaders, coach on interventions to manage performance (practices/areas, colleagues, clinicians)
  • Drive a performance management culture ensuring appraisals and development plans are in place
  • Support the Director of Region in agreeing individual Area Development Manager development plans
  • Project support contributing operational / regional insight and implementing consistently and effectively to the plan
  • Cascade, brief and implementation HR activity on behalf of the function
  • Educate and brief the regional management team on the right tools and procedures, driving standards and consistency
  • Support the business to achieve its staffing budget in line with staffing models, accessing agency spend data for insight and escalate where necessary
  • Supporting ADMs to identify re-profiling and staff reduction opportunities as necessary
  • Advise on acquisitions, closures and merge and relocate opportunities
  • Championing HR policies, procedures and tools, delivering consistent messages
  • Adherence to corporate plans, acting as HR gatekeepers
  • Providing proactive, consistent and risk aware support to ADM and CSM/CD to make tough, commercial contractual decisions around self-employed Clinicians
  • Coach and support ADMs and PMs on effective Clinician contract management
  • Supporting growth of diary hours by advising on solutions via Clinical and staffing changes working with operations, clinical and resourcing colleagues
  • Implementation of the Clinical Great Place to Practice (GPTP) Survey
  • Ideal candidate:
  • CIPD qualified
  • Previous experience gained in a regional role in a fast-paced multi-site organisation
  • Proven experience in influencing middle and senior managers
  • Experience of driving change and coaching line managers
  • Can demonstrate professional credibility and articulate communication
  • Resilience and flexibility essential
  • Strong technical knowledge of employment law
  • Experience of training delivery and facilitation
