Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate to join our team within an Electrical Trade Wholesaler as a Sales Executive based out of Nottingham (NG2)

  • Competitive Salary
  • Contracted to 40 hours per week

We are offering an exciting position for a Driven and Sales Focused Graduate to join our Sales Team, where we will work with and coach you to become a successful Sales Executive, providing you the skills and tools to enable you to build strong relationships with existing and new customers. You will work alongside the business manager and Area Sales Manager learning the product range & sales skills to manage an existing customer portfolio with a focus of growth and creating a sales plan to implement in the area to increase and build customer base and profit to meet and exceed monthly sales targets & KPIs.Graduate Sales Executive - The Role:
  • Learn about key areas of the business, market and the companys product ranges such as EV, Cabling lighting, ventilation, fire detection, security access control etc.
  • Initially work within the Branch to gain the skills and tools to allow you to build rapport with current customers
  • Take time to establish, develop and maintain credible relationships with Customers and Suppliers
  • Monitor your allocated accounts to ensure effective performance and growth
  • Ensure achievement of all relevant Key Performance Indicators, targets and objectives
  • Identify and action appropriate steps to rectify any shortfalls
  • Completion and utilisation of CRM (Vecta) to enable effective analysis of activity and understand ledger performance
Graduate Sales Executive - The Person:
  • Full driving license is an essential requirement
  • Be a driven and sales focused graduate
  • Have the ability to build quick, long standing and strong relationships
  • Excellent communication skills (including persuasion and influencing)
  • Have Intermediate IT skills (i.e. outlook, excel, PowerPoint)
