Job Description

Pertemps have a fantastic opportunity for a Process Operator to join one of our leading manufacturing clients on a Temporary Ongoing basis.The role involves operating a range of machines including simple line and palletisers, supporting the production line for hygiene products, and manufacturing those products according fixed specifications and Standard Operating Procedures.Hourly rate £14.93 (Continental 5-shift pattern)Duties involve:

Working within company strict health and safety standards.
Running the machine, watching the process and if necessary adjusting according to Continuous Improvement Systems.
Ordering and preparing raw materials / or products for palletising and installing them on the machine.
Maintaining adequate communication with previous and next shifts as well as with other persons involved in running the machine.
Securing the quality level of the products by regular checking against the product specification, rejecting or blocking if necessary.
Completing all required documentation and data files during production.

We are looking for experienced candidates who have worked in a similar position before, and who are able to show they are capable of working in a fast paced environment, working on several machines.
