Job Description

Im recruiting on behalf of my client, a Global Freight Company for an experienced Freight Branch Manager for their Aberdeen Office.If you are a natural motivator of people with a minimum of 10 years experience in Logistics (including hazardous cargo), and proven budget management and team management experience, I would love to chat with you!Duties & Responsibilities include:

Ensure full site compliance at all times
Set Branch Budgets
Ensure revenues are secured for all work completed
Question & promote ideas for change and constantly review
Ensure all staff training is completed and up to date
Compliance of all standard core KPIs
Ensure high quality customer service
Promote and foster good working relationships with the Global Network
Make informed decisions
Demonstrate the ability to achieve and then exceed, in areas such as Gross Margin, Process Reviews, Overhead Cost Control, Staff Motivation, Customer Service and Warehouse Management

To be considered for this role you will have an excellent understanding of the principles and practices of shipping and freight forwarding and a high attention to detail, the ability to work well under pressure and make informed decisions regardless of outcome.You will adopt the strategic business plan for the Group and ensure the plan is delivered through operational excellence, ensuring retention and development of existing business whilst being responsible for the complete operations of Aberdeen including Warehouse,Transport, Operations and general site requirements.If you would like to hear more about this opportunity, please apply by sending your CV and I will be in touch shortly to discuss.
