Job Description

At Care South, a leading not for profit social care organisation, we have an opportunity for a full time Home Care Staff Supervisor to join us working at our office Peasedown St John on the outskirts of Bath. For this role a driving licence and access to a vehicle for work is required.Benefits for full time Care Staff Supervisor choosing to work with Care South include:

Key duties for Home Care Staff Supervisor include (but may not be limited to):
  • To support and supervise our Home Care Assistants.
  • Oversee the professional development of new and existing staff.
  • To allocate staff to training, recording leave, sickness and other absences when needed.
  • To work with the wider team to ensure continuity of approach, maintaining clear communication.
  • To cover care calls when they are not allocated.

  • Holder of an NVQ or Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care
  • Strong IT skills, ability to multitask and work to internal objectives
  • A genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Holder of an enhanced DBS on the update service or prepared to undertake one
