Job Description

An exciting Licencing Officer position is now available with Trafford Council on an initial 4-month temporary contract.What is the roleTrafford Council are looking to appoint an experienced administrator to a Licencing Officer position.The Licensing Team are part of the Council’s wider Regulatory Services and support the processing of a range of applications for licenses, permits, and registrations.How can you help

Be responsible for the receipt, handling, and processing of licence applications. Ensuring permits, registrations, and fees are collected and correctly recorded.

Respond to requests for advice, handle complaints and enquiries, and provide good customer service to customers.

Create and maintain reliable, accurate, and timely records using various systems and databases.

Provide guidance to internal staff and external customers around licensing issues as required.

What experience do you need

A proven record of being an effective administrator in a customer focused setting.

Ability to efficiently process sensitive data to deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
