Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Social Worker for Children’s New Arrivals teams.Pay Rate –up to£35/Hr.Location - ManchesterYour key responsibilities will include:

  • To manage a caseload and keep accurate case records of work with young people and undertake statutory recordings.
  • To undertake a Child and Family Assessments/ Pathway Plan Assessment and provide ongoing support to the children by promoting their holistic needs.
  • To undertake assessments of young people resuming or wishing to resume education/ training or presenting with other support needs post 16 years.
  • To work with young people to promote welfare and ensure that their views and wishes are considered when undertaking assessments, developing Pathway Plans and reviews.
  • To work in a flexible manner to provide advice, practical assistance, and support to young people to enable successful transitions.
Reed is now offering a joining bonus of up to £250 for Qualified Social Workers. Terms apply.Essential Requirement:
  • SWE Registered
  • Must have minimum 2yearsof experience as Social Worker in children’s services
  • Must hold UK Driving License
