Job Description

Are you a part-qualified management accountant looking for the next step in your career Biogen will support you to become fully qualified and provide the opportunity to grow alongside us as we continue to expand.Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant, the role will work closely with the management accounts and AP/AR teams to provide timely and accurate data, journals and reconciliations.Management Accountant Requirements:You will support in the month end accounting for a division of companies within the group to tight timescales and to high levels of integrity and accuracy. Assisting in the production of monthly reporting, management accounts and monthly accruals for that division.Responsible for analysing and reporting on monthly performance for your division to FC & CFO and support the SMA in the production of the board pack.Work with the Senior Management Accountant to support in managing the stock process for the division, including quarterly review discussions and ensuring readiness for audit. Assist in producing monthly outloads reporting and analysis; balance sheet reconciliationsand actions. Produce ad hoc weekly and monthly reports, and complete ONS reporting as required by the business.You will ideally have experience of management accounts and be part qualified studying towards CIMA, ACCA or ACA with a strong commercial awareness. You will be confident in using different software programmes. You will possess strong IT skills and have experienceof MS Excel and finance IT systems.
