Job Description

Traveleads is a Travel Management Company which has been established for almost 50 years. We are seeking an experience travel management professional to join our team in the multi-disciplined role of Travel Compliance Manager.ABOUT TRAVELEADSWe at Deehurst Limited (trading as Traveleads) have been established since 1971, having acquired Sterling Travel Management (Southampton) and Traveltalk (Harrogate) over the past year. Our offices are at Millshaw on the outskirts of Leeds, close to the White Rose Shopping Centre.We are an award-winning travel management company focusing on business to business and Sports and Group travel. Our independent status means we are able to provide a truly authentic travel service, focusing at all times on the best interests of our customers. We are here to make sure our customers get the travel they need, without compromising on quality or value.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage travel licenses such as ABTA, ATOL, and AITA. Be responsible for contract management including for GDS access.
  • Maintain our ISO 9001 certification and work towards additional certifications such as ISO 27001. Work with our team to uphold exemplar standards and encourage excellence within all parts of our business.
  • Be the Data Protection Officer for the Company and ensure compliance with GDPR throughout our systems and operations.
  • Drive our compliance with general health and safety as well as COVID19 safety policies and protocols with support from HR.
  • Support the senior leadership team to carry out due diligence checks as assigned for any future acquisitions.
  • Work on project teams as required to ensure compliance with the appropriate industry standards.
  • CANDIDATES REQUIREMENTSThe successful applicant will have experience of:
  • A minimum of five years experience working in a travel management company.
  • A minimum of two years management experience.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing contracts and ISO certifications.
  • Certifications in H&S and GDPR.
  • Strong IT skills with aptitude for understanding systems.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Good in analytical skill, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Hard-working, proactive, with a can-do’ attitude.
  • Be a self-starter’ and work effectively as part of a team.
  • CONTRACT and REWARDThis vacancy offers a permanent contract for 25 hours per week, and a gross annual salary of up to £20,000pa based on experience.The role is based in our offices in Millshaw, Leeds (COVID19 restrictions apply). Working hours are 25 hours per week, Monday-Friday 09:30-15:00 including a 30min unpaid lunch break.
