Job Description

We are assisting a property development company with a national reach, established in excess of 50 years ago our client have been responsible for the construction of many large commercial premises, several of which are household names. Due to an upcoming departure, the business are looking to appoint a credit controller on a permanent part time basis.As credit controller you will join the finance team and report directly into the management accountant, taking ownership of the credit control function and acting as point of contact for all customer billing queries.This role is anticipated to take 25 - 30 hours a week, and you would have the freedom to select your own hour pattern.Main duties of the role:

Maintain regular contact with company debtors and chase outstanding payments

Raising and issuing of statements and invoices

Posting of payments and receipts on accounts software to company accounts

Reconciliation of accounts and ledgers

Produce debtor reports for more senior members of the finance department

Represent the company in a professional manner
