As Product Manager, youll help withthe strategy, youll work across Marketing, Engineering and Sales to implement your plan and then execute it within the market place.Youll be joining a business that is going places. Year on Year growth of 20%. A Global customer base, a manufacturing facility based here in the UK, a depth of experience and knowledge which has helped get to this point. Now is the time to bring in experiencedtalent to drive them to the next level. That person is you.Youre experienced in Labels Packaging. You know your stuff, either from a production / technical background or a sales and customer focused background. Youll use your knowledge of the sector to shape and develop new products and machinery that is thensold back into the label manufactures and printers.The sector experience that you have, means that you know the market. You know what works and you can use that information to really drive change and innovate the industry all whilst leaning on the experience they have of manufacturing world renowned printedpackaging machinery.Flexibility is paramount in this role. Youll be remote based with travel around current and prospect clients. This will involve travel around 70% of the time and will sometimes involve global travel too.Despite being part of the well established sales team, this IS NOT a new business role, this is technical sales. Youll not be sat there making 100 calls a day, prospecting and pitching. Youll be proactive in following up enquiries and leads from the vastmarketing investment this company has made and whilst using your deep understanding of labels youll educate and convert potential business into clients and internally, youll use the market insight to really shape current and future offerings.As a Product Manager, you know and understand that your role is to drive and add value to everyone involved in the process. You are the process in this case. Youre guiding the set up and development internally whilst adding value to your customer base bydemonstrating the capabilities youve designed!Collaboration is key. Youll be pulled from pillar to post with your knowledge. Absolutely integral to pushing the business and product offering moving forward. To do that, you have to wear many hats and work closely with all internal departments. You knowthis already though!
