RoleM&E Project Engineer / M&E Design EngineerLocationMayfair, LondonDescriptionWe are looking for an M&E Project / Design Engineer to support our Projects in London. Most of this work will be in Commercial Office Real Estate, Restaurants and Residential projects working on everything from Feasibility and Concept design through to RIBA Stages 3 and 4.The majority of the work will see you working alongside a Senior M&E Engineer or Director, with the opportunity to take on projects yourself as you settle in.The role will ideally suit an Engineer with 1-3 years M&E Design and Project Experience and will predominantly involve;- Site Surveys- Feasibility Reporting- System Sizing, Calculations and Selections- CAD Drafting and Design- Coordinating Designs on site and remotely with Interior Designers and Architects- Working alongside Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors- Specification PreparationThere will also be opportunities if you are interested to support the business by taking on your own Plant Replacement M&E Projects. These are fast-paced, Building Services system replacements that the M&E Engineer is responsible for complete project delivery normally on behalf of a Managing Agent or Property Owner. This gives a large amount of exposure to everything from Utilities consents and Plant Validations through to the Tendering, Contract Administration and Commissioning Management of the works.QualificationsThe most important qualities you can bring to the team are your Attitude and Integrity.In addition to this, the following experience is desirable;- Experience using AutoCad- Relevant University degree or College Degree in Building Services, Building Physics, Mechanical, Electrical or Energy Engineering- Chartered Status or on route- Proficient with core Microsoft Office365 applications (Word / Excel)- Excellent written English and Report writing skills- Experience or Proficiency in other technical software packages (i.e. IES / Dialux / Hevacomp) would be a bonusAbout us and what we can offerInnovo is a start-up Engineering Consultancy based in Mayfair, London.
