Job Description

Redimeer are recruiting for Group Management Accountant to join an Investment firm based in the West End. This role offers an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to be part of a dynamic and fast-growing international investment firm. The Accountancy and Reporting team is responsible for producing the management and statutory reporting.Responsibilities

  • Production of Quarterly management accounts and consolidated Group reporting for operations across all offices globally.
  • Production of year-end financial statements and regulatory returns for the UK LLP and other international entities.
  • Key audit contact for the UK LLP audit
  • Line management and development of the assistant management accountant to ensure they develop as a rounded accounting professional.
  • Responsible for the Firm’s VAT returns
  • Management of accounts payable and maintaining a smooth expense and invoice process, reviewing and improving processes as appropriate
  • DFO reporting
  • Leading the Firm’s annual budget process and monthly forecasting process
  • Group cashflow management and budget control
  • Project work to include the selection and implementation of a new management accounting system and a new Group forecasting model
    • Experience and Other Skills
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
  • Circa 7-10 years of experience as a corporate accountant
  • Prior exposure to, or experience in financial services is required
  • Some experience of the asset management/private equity industry would be advantageous
  • Strong interpersonal Skills
  • Highly organised and structured with strong attention to detail
