Job Description

They hold regular virtual team-meetings and occasional in-person meetings to better help them to work together....AND SO ARE YOUYoull be currently working in practice and be seeking to work hands-on with an exciting and interesting client base. Youll want to build your own relationships and be keen to demonstrate your ability to work without close supervision. Ideally youll havea mix of accounting & tax experience and be used to managing both people and deadlines.You must be a fully qualified professional who enjoys problem-solving and likes to think beyond accounting. As this is a fully-remote role, you must enjoy home-working and the flexibility this provides.You should have the following:- Relevant professional qualifications- Experience working with demanding clients- The ability to work without close supervision or management- Experience with XERO and (preferably) IRISTHE ROLE:The role will include the following duties:- Being responsible for managing a portfolio of clients- Reviewing and preparing annual accounts and corporation tax returns - Advising clients on a variety of accountancy and tax matters such as consolidations, R&D, share options, SEIS/EIS, reorganisations and international tax matters.- Preparing and reviewing VAT returns- Preparing and reviewing management accountsThis is a genuine flexible, remote-working role (and will continue to be so in a post CV-19 world) although you may be occasionally asked to attend client meetings when things get back to normal.
