Are you a Student Mental Health Nurse looking to start your career in an environment where you are nurtured and supported to excelSABP is the Trust for you!We are excited to offer this opportunity to work within our friendly and supportive teams at the Abraham Cowley Unit and Farnham Road Hospital, as a valued Newly Qualified Staff Nurse.We are looking for confident, talented Student nurses who are passionate about mental health and the patients we care for.We have positions at both of our working age adult inpatient sites, Chertsey and Guildford. Both hospitals offer great training programmes for newly qualified nurses such as the nightingale challenge and excellent bespoke packages. We will offer specialist training to support your transition from student to B5 and support you feel equip to function as a Staff Nurse.Both Chertsey and Guildford have robust leadership teams whom are extremely visible to all staff and play an active role in the daily running of the wards.There are 7 wards across 2 sites, Guildford having the largest number of beds and the PICU for the area.We are committed to continuous learning to improve patient care and offer a range of learning opportunities to support the development of patient experience and your own knowledge.There is an opportunity to undertake psychological intervention training in DBT skills, trauma informed interventions and CBT skills, physical health training adding a range of procedures to your tool kit.
