Job descriptionFacilities Coordinator£12.73 per hour plus accrued holiday payChertsey, SurreyCan you bring your Facilities skills and experience to Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust Are you able to apply your troubleshooting skills to support a team who are relocating to this new officeIf you answered yes, then Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust would love to hear from you!This is a full-time Facilities Coordinator role, based at the Abraham Cowley Unit, St Peters Hospital, Holloway Hill, Chertsey, Surrey KT16 0AE.This is a Band 4 position paying £12.73 per hour. There may be some optional overtime at weekendsHours: Mondays - Fridays (08:00am - 16:30pm) and this is an ongoing temporary role.Job OverviewReporting to the Facilities Manager you will support the management of a major relocation project and be a point of contact for all staff requiring support through the move and settlement process. You will support the delivery of all related property functionsand services to ensure the effective running of high-quality care and support environments that are also compliant, safe and sustainable.The Building Coordinator/Facilities Assistant will be:

  • Supporting the Facilities Manager with facilities and operations onsite
  • Be a point of contact for all staff queries / go-to person for all first line facilities support
  • Be a point of contact for suppliers and service providers
  • Supporting in the allocation of building resources, such as office space, clinic rooms and car parking in line with trust guidelines.
  • Supervising outsourced suppliers and ensure they provide services in line with agreed contractual arrangements as part of the effective delivery of services.
Key skills required:
  • Experience of bringing a range of services and delivery structures together.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication skills - A strong communicator who understands the customer journey.
  • Ability to prioritise a busy workload and manage competing demands
  • Previous experience in a facilities department
  • Any previous involvement with a major office move would be highly advantageous
