Job Description

The JobAn exciting opportunity has become available for a talented Interpreting Coordinator to join thebigword family based in Leeds.As Interpreting Coordinator you will be responsible for handling incoming client calls who have an immediate requirement for a linguist to assist with a limited English speaker. You must be passionate to provide the best customer experience whilst striving to exceed the service levels and provide an interpreter on every call in to our call centre.Key Responsibilities include:

  • Routing calls to appropriate resource
  • Handling all aspects of client queries
  • Identifying and escalating priority issues
  • Advising the Client Programme Manager of shortfalls in supplier capacity
  • Providing ad-hoc support to other departments as and when required
  • Dealing effectively with customer dissatisfaction and record all service complaints
  • Working within the inbound telephony help desk team and provide excellent customer service to all in bound callers
  • Providing real-time customer care to clients and linguist
  • Maintaining effective communication channels with suppliers and develop positive supplier relationships
  • Key Knowledge skills and experience required:
  • Good telephone manner, pleasant, polite and friendly
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work to targets
  • Can handle high call volumes
  • Team player, build working relationships
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Desirable skills and experience
  • Customer Service experience, ideally gained within a Contact Centre environment
  • Adaptable and able to manage change
