The JobAn exciting opportunity has become available for a talented Account Manager to join thebigword’s interpreting team, based in Leeds on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.This position will initially be working from home.The Account Management department at thebigword plays a vital role in growing company revenue globally. The main focus of this new role will be to drive business growth by growing existing business.As Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining thebigword’s relationships with its customers. You are in charge of building long-term relationships with your client(s).What we need from youKey Responsibilities of the Account Manager role include:· Daily engagement with your client to build strong relationships and ensure customer satisfaction· Hosting regular meetings to report back on TheBigWord’s performance againt the contract, share company initiatives etc.· Building, maintaining and developing internal and external relationships with key stakeholders through effective written, verbal and face to face communication· Generating sales among client accounts, including upselling and cross-selling· Communicating client needs and demands to the wider business· Managing projects within client relationships, working to carry out client goals while meeting TheBigWord goals· Coordinating with staff members working on the same account to ensure consistent service· Delivery of training to end users face to face, webinars, over the phone, video conference· Reporting to the Client Programme Director to achieve the overall objective of the contractKey Knowledge skills and experience required:Essential requirements· Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, or similar and relevant role· Strong influencer with great personable skills· Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organisation· Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs· Proven ability to successfully manage multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail· Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilitiesDesirable requirements· Strong experience with CRM software· Industry specific experienceThe CompanyThebigword makes the world a smaller place by breaking down language barriers, supporting global trade and helping people access goods, commerce and services in their own languages.Founded in 1980, we provide the best translation, interpretation, localisation and language technology solutions - handling up to 50,000 worldwide assignments every day.
