Job Description

Kameo Recruitment are recruiting for a Sales Executive, who will specialise in Augmented Reality and IoT sales. The successful applicant will join a dynamic technology business based in North Cambridge, where you will cover the whole of the UK. This fantastic opportunity will be well suited to an experienced B2B Sales professional, who is passionate about building a career in IT software, engineering or technical sales, a background in this is advantageous but not necessary. The Sales Executive will hold responsibility for driving growth within our clients innovative and fast-growing product range, where you should be passionate about carving new business partnerships, as well as maintaining the happiness of existing clients. You will join a business at the forefront of bringing pioneering products to market, proudly providing industry leading software to small start-ups, as well as some of the largest organisations in the U.K. You will be a key cog for the Sales Team, helping to support and build upon their well-established reputation.SALARY IS £25-40k, PLUS COMMISSIONLocation - You will be required to travel to Head Office (North Cambridge) on a regular basis, so will ideally be within a 1.5-hour commute. You will cover the whole of the UK.Duties and Responsibilities of the Sales Executive include (but are not limited to):

  • Engaging with existing customers to create awareness of these exciting new AR and IoT products
  • Collaborate with Area Sales Managers and Account Managers to ascertain interest of new products within customer accounts
  • Identify prospects in existing, and new industry areas
  • Maintain an interest in latest product development to support our client in their mission to become product experts
  • With the Account Executives create targeted prospecting campaigns which help identify new customers
  • Approximate allocation of time is as followsEngaging with existing customer base, attending meetings and providing demos (20%) identifying and developing prospect accounts (60%) working with the Lead AR Architect and Technical Director to understand product applications (10%) collaborating with the Head of Sales to define and continuously develop an AR & IoT strategy for the business (10%).RequirementsApplicants should be confident, persuasive, and self-motivated - able to take care of your own diary and manage your time well. To thrive in this role, you need to have proven track record in new business development, as well as account management. You should be able to demonstrate an excellent track record of meeting targets and KPIs, as well as a history of being a reliable and committed employee.
