Digital Portfolio Management Office - Lead PMOApplication closing date: 30/04/23 at 23:59A bit about the role...As part of the Chief Operating Office, the Transition Alignment Group (TAG) works at an enterprise level to help prioritise and resource key workstreams, identify future and present strategic risks and support leadership decision making. The next 12 monthswill be a period of significant change in the agency and you as part of this function will play a key role in helping to plan for and embed the changes required across the organisation.Over the next period TAG will support Homes Englands ambition to develop and grow its internal PMO capacity and capability to effectively deliver this period of change. The PMO Lead will play a critical role in the Digital Portfolio Management Office (DPMO)which is an integral part of how Home England will achieve this. We are looking for an experienced Portfolio individual, with excellent PMO and management skills, to shape the future of the DPMO in a fast growing, national organisation with real social purpose.A bit about youOur Digital and change programmes need the support of an enthusiastic and experienced PMO Lead who will lead on defining, implementing and managing the DPMO services and will always be looking for ways to improve and innovate. You will establish and maintainrelationships with various teams within the Digital Portfolio and other change workstreams, as well as several teams in the wider agency as required (in particular HR, Procurement, Legal, Finance and TAG).Youll be comfortable supporting senior management with complex portfolio information, aiming to provide assurance across the portfolio. You will be proficient in providing Portfolio, programme office support and co-ordination, including agile methodologyand processes, portfolio planning, budgeting and reporting, change control and risk and issues management support..Delivering on a Digital and change programme as bold as ours isnt always easy. Working as part of a highly collaborative team, you will need to be comfortable working with ambiguity, balancing existing and emerging priorities and working through strategicand operational challenges. You will enjoy working in an innovative, fun and engaging way and be able to negotiate and persuade.As an experienced specific discipline PMO professional youll understand how to manage colleagues and be able to demonstrate you can work with others as part of a team in a collaborative, inclusive way.Who are we Homes England, the governments housing and regeneration agency, plays a central role in tackling the housing challenges the country now faces.
