Job Description

HR AdvisorCambridge£35,000We are currently seeking an HR Advisor to join our Fibre and Telecoms clients based in Cambridge with a salary of £35,000.Requirements for HR Advisor

  • Be the first point of contact to support line managers with advice, coaching, and guidance.
  • Help managers through employee related issues.
  • Ensure line managers understand how to conduct meetings.
  • Create meeting frameworks, scripts, and template letters as required.
  • Monitor and manage allocated cases, ensure cases are prioritised.
  • Support in managing People related policies.
  • Review legislative changes such as Gender Pay, GDPR etc.
  • Work with the HR Manager to implement the resulting change.
  • Provide monthly reports.
  • Responsible for the development of People related policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Produce accurate records and HR database information.
  • Build good relationships across the business and
  • Create and deliver training for the team in management skills.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of employment law, case law, and best practice.
Requirements for HR Advisor
  • Experience in an advisory role in a multi-site company.
  • Experience in dealing with a wide range of employee relation issues.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to engage at all levels of the organisation effectively and professionally.
  • Organised, structured, and methodical.
  • Able to listen and question effectively and make rational judgements.
  • Excellent at solving problems and providing solutions.
  • Computer literate including MS Office
  • Business and Commercial Awareness
  • Driving licence (advantageous)
  • CIPD Qualification or equivalent
