You will be a pivotal lead in creating a positive colleague experience and the development of a truly inclusive organisation, in which we develop our people and have pride, passion, and purpose in the work we do.Reporting to the HR Director, you will be passionate on leading the development, design and delivery of Home Englands resourcing, employee relations and HR operational plans and priorities, taking accountability for the end-to-end delivery of these activities.You will strive for continuous development of HR services to ensure excellent colleague and user experience, driving forward transformation, harnessing the power of digital services to add value and drive efficiency.Critical elements of the role will see you lead the People Services team, ensuring HR infrastructure and governance is in place to support business continuity and transformation ensuring they are able to provide robust advice, support and information toleaders and colleagues. You will be accountable for ensuring the effective delivery of the people strategy, in line with the overall Homes England agency wide strategy and core business objectives.By working within the HR senior management team, you will drive the delivery of the future people vision and colleague experience, as outlined in the People & Culture framework, through a collaborative leadership approach across the organisation. This isa truly exciting opportunity to join Homes England.Now over to youAs the Assistant Director of People Services, you will be able to demonstrate effective experience of leadership of a broad operational HR / shared service function. You will have worked closely with Lead Specialists including HR admin, resourcing, employeerelations, payroll, data and analytics.Your drive and determination will see enable you to provide a strategic perspective with analytical insights, rigour and ability to align business strategy to HR strategy to bring about change and improvements to the People Services team.You will have strong communication skills, with an ability to form robust and effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders with professional credibility, resilience and integrity. Furthermore, you will utilise these skills to influenceand shape how you collaboratively work with colleagues at all levels across the agency, to embed the values and behaviours that underpin the Homes England Way.Who are we Homes England, the governments housing, and regeneration agency, plays a central role in tackling the housing challenges the country now faces.
