Your new companyA leading Technology company is looking for a Senior Test Engineer to work in their testing team, the role is fully remote but will require you to be based in the UK with a right to work without sponsorship.Your new roleYoull be joiningan already established team and working with the Test Manager and teams to define process and strategy associated with automation.Youll also Perform effective defect management and drive defects to closure by taking complete bug ownership.What youll needto succeedThe following experience is required: At least ISEB/ISTQB Foundation, preferably Practitioner Experience of working in Quality Assurance Automation or as a Test Automation Engineer Experience in all areas of the testing lifecycle (systems testing,functional, regression testing, UAT) Good working experience of Selenium, Spec Flow or Cypress or other code based test frame works. Good working knowledge of .NET coding languages and/or JavaScript Experience in testing Web UI and Web API applications. Experienceof Test Driven Development processes and frameworks Good knowledge of commonly used test models & frameworks Good understanding of the test lifecycle and where it sits within the development lifecycle Experience of carrying out peer reviews, triages, show-and-tellsproduct demonstrations At least a basic knowledge of JSON, XML and SQL Good understanding of TDD/ BDD and related frameworks like Cucumber Ability to write and execute manual test cases and then automate them Knowledge of OOPS concepts Working Linux & DB knowledgeWhat youll get in returnYoull be offered a salary of up to £60,000 depending on experience, this is also a great opportunity to work on exciting projects within a leading Technology company and work fully remotely.What you need to do nowIf youre interestedin this role, click apply now to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.If this job isnt quite right for you but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion on your career.
