Job Description

Were looking for a Head of AdTech to join one of the worlds leading digital agencies.The role is within the centralized hub for all agency activity related to data strategy, management, and application. This teams end-to-end design, from tag creation through campaign analysis, ensures clients have clean and usable data from which insightscan be gleaned and applied to campaign optimization and media decision making.The head of Adtech will also assist with Google Marketing Platform [GMP] projects. The agency are a GMP sales partner, license GMP products and provide services in relation to GMP products, including platform architecture for CM360, DV360, and SA360 networksand consulting on all things Google marketing.The role is responsible for leading digital campaign activation strategies, and developing processes and technology that provide effective solutions for clients. This includes:

  • Lead development and deployment efforts for key services which include cookieless and privacy measurement solutions, GMP architecture, platform-based attribution (MTA), media tagging solutions (e.g. TMS), and DCO solutions design
  • Identify technical opportunities to address client needs across all channels of digital paid media
  • Lead a team of 3-6 individuals who will be activating, optimizing, and consulting on ad tech strategy and campaigns using internal existing products as well as 3rd party solutions
  • Develop ad tech and data strategy solutions related to activation and measurement. Liaise with internal & external stakeholders on developing client proposals and SOWs
  • Establish and foster close working relationships with all tech partners that are required to develop clear roadmaps for our products and services.
  • Detailed knowledge of Google and Facebook technology platforms, as well as Ad tech and Martech vendor offerings
  • Manage onboarding of new clients and develop process strategies to increase efficiency. Work with internal stakeholders to identify and improve workflow for existing client roster
  • Manage production of process documentation for platform tag generation, workflows for website tagging, ways of working documents, Ad Tech solutions and capabilities, etc.
  • Manage internal training to increase awareness and knowledge of Ad tech services
  • Aiding the GMP solutions architects with any queries they have with regards to technical implementation / integration of products, future feature rollouts and integrations
  • Auditing the marketing approach in relation to the use of GMP technology
Qualifications:
  • 8-12 years of experience in a management or consultation role
  • 6-8 years of experience in digital media is preferred - agency or publisher side. Related fields may include site-side, web, or social analytics management; digital platform support/sales; vendor support/sales or development
  • A strong background in various technologies and the proven ability to teach and support others in their use. Examples of tools and applications specific to each side of the practice include:
  • Proficient in Google Campaign Manager 360 and ad servers generally (incl. Sizmek, Flashtalking, Adform)
  • Expertise with site tagging, rich media, etc. knowledge/experience with GMP, Google 360 suite
  • Expertise with Tag Management Systems (GTM, Ensighten, Signal, Tealium, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of Programmatic Operations (DMPs, DSPs, Exchanges, SSPs)
  • Working knowledge of VVF vendors (viewability, verification, and fraud prevention)
  • Working knowledge in the expanding area of DCO vendors (Flashtalking, Sizmek, Revjet, Jivox, etc.)
  • Working knowledge in the expanding area of attribution solutions (Flashtalking, GMP, Neustar, Visual IQ, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of the working relationships with second- and third-party vendors
  • Working knowledge of web analytics practices, e.g. SSA, Site Optimization, CRO, A/B Testing
    • Experience with HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, or APIs
