INSURANCE SCHEMES ACCOUNT HANDLERBOLTON£35,000 to £40,000 + BENEFITSTHE OPPORTUNITY:Were working closely with a highly successful and rapidly expanding Insurance Brokerage located in the Bolton area. As a result of the significant growth to their established insurance scheme, theyre looking to hire an additional Insurance Scheme AccountHandler to join the team.This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Insurance Account Handler that has a strong background either within an Insurance Provider or an Insurance Brokerage, and an individual who is looking to join a business where you can truly fast track theircareer.This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced Insurance Account Handler to join the team and quickly develop their career within this rapidly expanding insurance brokerage.THE INSURANCE SCHEMES ACCOUNT HANDLER ROLE:

  • As an Insurance Schemes Account Handler, youll be reporting to the Director and handling a number of existing customer client accounts.
  • Handling of renewals, mid-term amendments, claims, premium financing arrangement and queries for a bank of existing clients
  • Development of new business opportunities
  • Achieve and maintain a high level of customer service and promote exceptional customer care standards at all times.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with clients and insurers
  • Ensure all business activity fully complies with FSA regulation, the Scheme Delegated Authority and company procedures
  • Maintain detailed computer records
  • Discussing and assessing clients current and future insurance needs and ensure expert advice
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in the both the Insurance Industry and competitor offerings
  • Preparing presentation of terms to be presented by Account Executives on larger cases
  • Conduct learning, training and assessment exercises in accordance with the individual scheme applicable to you. Identify further areas for own development as required.
THE PERSON
  • Must have experience as an Insurance Account Handler role, from either an Insurance Provider or Insurance Broker background
  • Any experience of working with Insurance Schemes would be an advantage but is by no means essential
  • A desire to personally progress with a rapidly expanding business and assist with the development of other team members
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build instant relationships with clients and colleagues
  • A driven individual who wants to be part of a rapidly expanding business who is looking to continue to expand their career
  • CII / Commercial Insurance qualifications would be an advantage
