Content Executive, Bolton, Greater Manchester to £23K - Hybrid working 3 days from homeA leading ecommerce business in Greater Manchester are requiring a Content Executive to join their thriving in-house Marketing team. Reporting to the Senior SEO & Content Manager, you will work across a portfolio of websites to make sure on-site contentis up to date and to the best quality. You will help our small content team own the blog and creatively provide content to the wider marketing team. You will help carry out audits and improve content using keyword research and analytical skills to learn fromprevious copy and improve moving forward.You will be a good writer who is creative and enthusiastic. Youll have some writing experience, a solid understanding of marketing concepts and an eagerness to continue to learn and build on your existing skills.Responsibilities- Workshopping content ideas in weekly content planning sessions - Writing, editing, updating and creating content for: Blogs Landing pages Email and newsletters Press releases Email campaigns Guides Scripts for marketing videos Text for social posts- Work with stakeholders and designers on projects to see content transform from written page into website pages and more- Provide content that appeals to both B2B and B2C audiences- Use website tools to analyse content and find opportunities for improvements and inspiration for further content - e.g. SEMRush, Keyword Keg, Google Search Console, Data Studio etc- Upload blogs and update landing pages via our CMS- Work with the wider Marketing, Email, Design and IT teams to deliver quality content to realistic deadlinesExperienceThe most important thing we want you to have is a passion for writing and all things content! Experience were looking for includes:- 1-2 years content experience or undergraduate degree in relevant subject- Excellent writing skills with an ability to write for different audiences- Good eye for spelling and grammar with extreme attention to detail- Proficient in using Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Slides and Sheets- Organised and able to work independently while using your own initiative- A team player who can happily work with different members of different teams- Confident communicator- Basic knowledge of SEO is advantageous but not a requirement - Basic knowledge of HTML is useful but not a requirement
