Job Description

The Recruitment Co are currently recruiting for extrusion operatives for their busy client based in Knowsley. This is a full time permanent positionThe job purpose is to operate the Extrusion equipment to maintain and improve performance, ensuring a safe operating environment at all times and a high standard of product quality is maintained throughout the shiftThe Job role:

  • Comply with the companys Health & Safety/Quality Standards
  • Set up and operating machinery in accordance with current procedures, conduct appropriate checks on machinery/equipment
  • To ensure product conforms to documented standards, operating procedures are adhered to
  • To monitor progress of workload and report any issues to your line manager
  • Help to ensure production targets and other KPIs are achieved
  • To complete all necessary paperwork in an accurate and timely manner
  • Adjust Machine settings to achieve required quality standards according to current specifications/lockdown protocols
  • Maintenance, upkeep and cleaning of machinery
  • Complete other tasks as instructed by your line managerFull training is provided for the role.Pay-£13.00 basic plus the following shift allowance- £55 a week on afternoon shift and £125 on nightsHours of work will be-Monday to Friday7am to 3pm/ 3pm to 11pm and 11pm to 7am on a 3 shift pattern rotation basisCPLiverpoolInd
