Our impressive 270 berth marina has grown over the past 30 years and we continue to pride ourselves in the first-class service weprovide to our berth holders, visitors and customers.We’re currently looking for a Parts Assistant to join us on a full-time, permanent basis and deliver a first-class service to customers.What are the benefits- Salary of up to £26,000 per annum- 25 days’ annual leave- Pension- Branded company clothing- Stunning working location- On-site parkingThis is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with experience in parts or retail and knowledge of marine or automotive engineering to join a fantastic organisation.You’ll also have the opportunity to work with some of the most prestigious boating brands, enriching your expertise and advancing your career!What will I be doingAs a Parts Assistant, you’ll deliver a high-quality service to customers in person and through telephone, email and online channels.Supporting our appointed dealership brands, you will work with Volvo Penta, Suzuki Marine, Yanmar and Williams Jet Tenders, among other associated engine and outboard brands.You will also be responsible for accurate stock picking, our stock management system (Sage 200), dispatching the appropriate parts to customers and, above all, providing an exceptional customer experience.What do I needTo join us as a Parts Assistant, you’ll need:- Proven experience in parts or retail, preferably in the maritime or automotive industries- Knowledge of marine or automotive engineering parts, accessories, and equipment- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- A working knowledge of inventory management software and MS Office- At a minimum, A-Levels (or equivalent)Other organisations may call this role Marine Parts Assistant, Marine Parts Advisor, Parts Advisor, Stock Assistant, Parts Co-ordinator, or Stores Assistant.Webrecruit and Darthaven Marina are equal opportunities employers, value diversity and are strongly committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all employees and all applicants for employment.
