What its like to work here The English Riviera portfolio of properties encompasses Coleton Fishacre, Greenway, Compton castle and Bradley Manor. these properties include 3000 acres of wild and rugged Coastline and Countryside. As a Ranger based at Coleton Fishacre you will be workingacross all these properties and managing a wide variety of habitats from lowland heath near Teignmouth, coastal wetlands, mixed farmland and estuarine Oak woodlands near Kingswear.For more information about our property please visit coleton-fishacre What youll be doing As the Area Ranger you will be part of a small but dedicated team of Rangers working throughout the English Riviera portfolio: following the lead from the Lead Ranger and Property’s Business Plan you will manage an effective and flexible work programme withspecific responsibilities for the planning and creation of new woodlands across the portfolio. You will support your fellow rangers in undertaking engagement and conservation work and contribute to the wider strategy delivery across the estate.You will play the key role in maintaining excellent standards of presentation and property maintenance, successfully achieving Conservation Performance Indicator targets. You will build and maintain strong professional relationships with colleagues, contractors,tenants and neighbouring land managers.You’ll also be responsible for helping with excellent communication of our conservation work to a wide range of audiences, both new and existing, through events, guided walks and engagement with local communities.
