Panel BeaterLocation - South ShieldsPay Rate - £15 per hourShifts - Monday to Friday Job Type - Temporary with opportunity to go permanentGi Group are recruiting a Panel Beater on behalf of a well-established Automotive Company. You will be working as a part of an experienced body shop team, supporting the paint-line department, ensuring that paints are matched and prepared to the highest standards.Main responsibilities of a Panel Beater -* Stripping and fitting panels.* Carrying out repairs to restore vehicles to their original condition in line with approved methods.* Pulling out dents with aid of pin puller, slide hammers, miracle pulled, jig and panel beating hammers.* Completing minor and major filler work on the panels.* Supporting body shop team within other departments if required.* Training body shop trainee staff.Skills and experience required of a Panel Beater -* Experience in vehicle refurbishment or a vehicle accident repair centre is required.* Minimum 2 years experience as a Panel Beater.* You will need to work independently on vehicles, and have experience to make decisions when required.* Willing to support junior techs and offer support/expertise when needed.* You will be passionate to work within the motor industry and take pride in your work, delivering high standards.* Keen eye for detail, professional mannerism and you must be able to work within a successful team.* You must own your own tools/basic kit.* Holder of Full UK Driving Licence - Max 6 points and No DDs, DRs or TT99 due to insurance reasons.If you are interested in the position please call Gi Group on and ask for Devon or apply online.Gi Group Holdings Recruitment Limited group of companies includes Gi Recruitment Limited, Draefern Limited, Gi Group Recruitment Ltd, INTOO (UK) Limited, Marks Sattin (UK) Limited, TACK TMI UK Limited and Grafton Professional Staffing Limited.
