Job Description

The OpportunityManagement Accountant - 12 Month FTC - Hybrid Working - South TynesideNigel Wright are exclusively supporting a fantastic North East business with their search for a Management Accountant to join them to cover a period of maternity leave! This role supports and reports into the Group Financial Controller and will start on a 12month fixed term basis. Duties will include:

Assist in the production and maintenance of monthly financial board report.
Monthly production of business area P&Ls and financial close, including the monthly reporting pack.
Assist in the production of forecasts and annual budgets & 5/10 year plans.
Oversee the financial appraisal of capital investment and other major projects.
Responsible for the development of improved customer profitability analysis.
Responsible for reporting groupwide performance against all budgetary targets, specifically to include revenue and cost reduction initiatives.
Responsible for collation of groupwide revenue assurance reporting.
Assist in production of quarterly cashflow and covenant reporting forecasts.
Assist in the production of draft annual report and accounts for all group companies, including annual corporation tax returns.
Responsible for Capital and Major Repairs reporting, including monthly accruals, forecasts, and control of spend authorisation.
Responsible for the FA register, including calculation of monthly depreciation, processing of additions and disposals, and reconciliation to TB.
