Job Description

Business Development Executive Tyne and Wear | Onsite Up to £32,000 + BonusA Business Development Executive is required to join a global market leader in plastic injection moulding, vinyl dip moulding, metal manufacturing, and various industrial components. This FTSE 250 business has been operating for over 65 years across 28 countries.They provide products for various industries including automotive, fabrication, electronics, medical and renewable energy.The Role As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for maximising all sales opportunities, prioritising high-value prospects, and proactively managing a large customer portfolio through B2B activities and key account management. Your role includeswinning new business, optimizing existing revenue streams through telesales, and building lasting profitable relationships with clients. You will engage with customers to facilitate cross-selling and upselling product offerings, developing and maintainingrelationships with key accounts.Some of what you will be doing:

  • Dealing with a large customer portfolio through B2B activity
  • Maximising all sales opportunities
  • Winning new business and maximising existing revenue streams, to build long-term profitable relationships
  • Telephone sales to grow sales, i.e. telemarketing, cold calling, lapsted accounts, following up on new prospects and leads
  • Maintaining accurate customer records and sales development activities
  • Participating in team briefings and ensuring regular communication with team leaders
  • Participating in specific projects and team activities
  • Developing a comprehensive understanding of the business’s product range
  • Demonstrating a customer-first’ approach
  • Listening and asking questions to understand others’ perspectives
Ideally, your skills and experience will include:
  • B2B Sales/Telesales
  • Highly organised and able to work to targets
  • Being a team player
  • OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) Markets (preferred)
  • CRM (D365) (preferred)
  • Track record of exceeding targets
  • Strong communication and relationship-building
