With flexible hybrid working and excellent benefits including healthcare.The tax team processes personal tax returns and VAT returns for a variety of external clients from organisations across the UK. You will learn various tax duties and build relationships with clients. In Ibstock we have a varied highly prestigious clientbase of high-net worth individuals, SMEs and not-for-profit individuals.Joining the team as an apprentice, youll work towards a formal accountancy qualification (ATT) and start your journey towards a fulfilling and rewarding accountancy career. With the benefits of on the job learning and structured training, you will be givenall the skills and support you need as well an impressive client list. Senior members of the team will support with training and our internal training will help you develop in the role.Initially you will be part of a larger team before taking on individual responsibility for your clients. In time you will have your own client portfolio and will be the main contact. You will receive training towards management of a portfolio of self-assessments.We are looking for a motivated individual who will have future management of making tax digital for Income Tax self-Assessment.What we are looking forWe are looking for dynamic, ambitious individuals with a positive can do attitude who arelooking for a challenge.You will have pace, accuracy and understand the importance of excellent client service.You will have confidence with numbers, great attention to detail and the ability to confidently talk to people to build client relationships.Highly personable with excellent verbal and written communication is also crucial.Accountancy can be technically demanding with new concepts and regulatory changes to grasp. You should be able to learn quickly and be at ease with grasping new concepts.QualificationsWe are able to consider different levels and so can consider school/college leavers, graduates or candidates who have already started their ATT qualification.We are looking candidates who have GCSES in Maths and English (grade 4 and above), A Levels (grades C and above) and/or a relevant degree 2:ii and above.The successful candidate will be interested in having a career in accountancy and looking to study or already started the ATT qualification.In addition, you will have anexcellent knowledge of Microsoft Office with intermediate excel skills as a minimum.PackageA generous remuneration package includes:
