We pride ourselves on leading for new, innovative and sustainable products and solutions, both for todayand for a new era of building.To support our progress, we are currently recruiting for two Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to come and join our team at our SM2 Site in Leicestershire, LE67 6HS.The shift pattern for this Mechanical Maintenance Engineer role is a (5on, 5off, 5on, 4off, 4on, 5off) days and nights, 12 hours shift patterns, option of overtime is there for those that would like to earn extra.As such we are keen to speak with an experienced industrial Mechanical Maintenance Engineer seeking to join our forward-thinking company with large backing who wants to further their professional career.Salary: £46,851 per annum, 12 hours shift patterns 5,5,4 days and nights, plus overtime at a premium, plus pension contribution up to 10% and excellent benefits packageTraining and career development, including health and safety training, management training (ILM), cross skilling and upskillingJob security and personal development within a market leading, international manufacturing organisation like Ibstock Plc.• Basic salary of £46,851•5 on 5 off - Days & Nights• 25 days holiday per annum• Share scheme & Pension match up to 10%• Extensive training and personal development• The ability to work with a team of skilled engineers across maintenance and project engineering activities.Key Responsibilities Include:Promote the highest Health and Safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.Utilise a computerised maintenance management system (CMMS) to facilitate Planned Preventative Maintenance, Inspections, Service and RepairsCarry out mechanical maintenance and repairs to existing heavy machinery, potentially installing new plant, designing and fabricating parts/structures,Ensure rigorous application of continuous improvement tools and techniques across all areas of the manufacturing facility to optimise performance.Work collaboratively across all support functions, by building effective working relationships, to optimise factory performance.Essential Qualifications & Experience:Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship to level 3 city and Guilds, NVQ etcPneumatics, hydraulics, Conveyors, Gearboxes and industrial mechanical skillsWelding skills would be an advantageHigh degree of Health & Safety awareness.Ability to fault find, repair, and provide solutions to problems.Time Served, Advanced Apprenticeship in Engineering Maintenance (Mechanical), Engineering Manufacture (Mechanical), Mechatronics (Mechanical) or equivalentMaintenance experience and fault diagnosis of Pneumatics and Hydraulics systemsKnowledge of Welding / Basic FabricationComputer literate in MS Word and ExcelKnowledge of basic continuous improvement tools and techniquesGood knowledge of current Health and Safety Law and best practice application within a manufacturing environmentPlease note, it is our policy to verify all relevant qualifications.
