We pride ourselves on leading for new, innovative and sustainable products and solutions, both for todayand for a new era of building.To support our progress, we are currently recruiting for a Team Leader (Nights) to come and join our team at Eclipse site in Leicestershire, LE67 6HS.Key responsibilities:-Ensure people and resources are applied in an efficient and effective manner to meet operational requirements-Collection and interpretation of production data as well as collection of downtime data and ensuring accurate reporting-Ensure team members follow defined manufacturing procedures and comply with quality requirements-Ensure that escalation procedures for quality concerns is followed-Working closely with Engineering teams to assist in routine maintenance tasks and plant verification-Responsible for training of operators.-Hands on Cleaning of machinery and plant-Operation of mobile plant as required-Adhering to health & safety, quality and environmental systems-To deliver through the process improvement initiatives and continuous improvement-Creating and maintaining the highest standards of 5S’s housekeeping and environmental management-Assist in the development of SSOP’s and Risk Assessments-Management of contractors on siteEssential qualifications & experience:-Ensure effective communications between shifts to maximise factory performance.-Encourage and promote team working at all times-Identify and solve problems, using resources under your direct control-Excellent timekeeping, attendance and flexibility-Self-motivated-Numerate & literate.-Ability to also work alone.-High degree of Health & Safety awareness.-Understanding the operation of each machine, to a standard where you are a lead operative across all areas of plant.-Willingness to undergo further training and development.Desirable qualifications & experience:-Experience of working in a continuous improvement environment.-Any certification for mobile plant is advantageous-A recognised up-skill.Training & Development:Ibstock aims to operate to world-class standards and the successful candidate will be required to commit to a focused programme of training and development which will include:-Multi-functional operation, possibly cross departmental.-5S principles.-Localised Health and Safety Procedures.-Localised Environmental and Quality Responsibilities.-Localised up-skilling.Think you can make a difference WE ARE your future.
