The role is offered on a 12 month FTC, and will be based from our Head Office location (LE67 6HS) but will involve frequent travel across the Midlandsregion.This is a generalist People Project delivery role, supporting our People Business Partners with change activity. Your focus will be looking at how we successfully integrate new business into our existing estate – designing People Integrations plans and processeswhich create a footprint for any current and future M&A activity.As our People Projects Officer, you will:•Take the lead on people and change plans across all aspects of people related change – from implementation to delivery, ensuring stakeholders are engaged and deliverables are clearly defined•Design and deliver communication plans to ensure all colleagues are fully engaged with the wider organisation and feel part of the Ibstock estate and our core values•Coach and support leadership teams to drive a culture of high individual and team performance – driving the role modelling of best practice in relation to people management and development•Ensure that the organisation is appropriately designed to deliver key business objectives in the short and medium term, including effective structures and job design detailing clear accountabilities and key capabilities•Support the delivery of people related change related to consultation and contractual change activity so that a fully integrated business model is achieved with aligned terms and conditions to our standard business model•Review current reward systems and define future requirements based on the future organisation and the integration activity required•Build all aspects of the Ibstock people life cycle into the standard people practices so alignment with our wider organisation is achievedIn order to be successful as our People Projects Officer, you will ideally have:•Experience implementing effective people solutions across all elements of the people lifecycle.•Demonstrable business and commercial acumen through the implementation of people focussed solutions to achieve business goals•Understanding of/tangible experience of supporting people change and transformation projects that deliver value to the business•A good understanding of organisational culture and behaviour, and the key levers to influence this.•The ability to build strong relationships whilst also demonstrating the courage and resilience to challenge and influence senior stakeholders.•Understanding of leading people practices across all areas of the HR profession, principles of high performing teams/good leadership and how to work collaboratively to enable managerial capability to support this•Concept of how to use HR analytics to create value and offer insight that inspires action.•Understanding of UK Employment legislation and company policies, and able to assess and manage the organisational impact of changes in employment law.Knowledge of HR operations or HR shared services environments, including a good understanding of HR systems and processes would be advantageous, but not essential.Think you can make a difference WE ARE your future.More details:•Full time role, with hybrid working options•Car allowance•Competitive salary•10% matched pension, administered by Legal and General•3x life insurance•Share Save scheme eligibility•Full access to Employee Assistance programme for self and family members•Access to high street retail discounts platform – with access to discounts at Tesco, Asda, etc…•Personal development and career progression opportunitiesOur commitment to diversity and inclusionExcited about the role, but your past experience or qualifications don’t perfectly match everything in the job description We would encourage you to still apply.
