We operate a network of 18 active quarries locatedclose to our manufacturing plants.The Role:You will lead a team of central project managers whilst assuming responsibility for group wide site engineering maintenance teams. Within the position you will be instrumental in developing and delivering process improvement projects on time and to budget,assuming overall responsibility for Engineering and Maintenance strategy across the Group.Key Responsibilities:Managing a team of project managers and regional engineering teams developing and delivering improvement projects across the group, such as RCA, RCM, CMMS, Engineering stores etcWorking with the senior team to develop a long-term investment strategy and opportunities for factory expansionProviding overall project direction and support to the allocated project managersDefining project scopes and specifications, working with factory teams, including factory managers, engineering managers and maintenance teamsResource allocationprioritising project management allocation, working with all stakeholdersFinancial managementtracking and reporting capital budgets, R & M budgets applications, approvals and spendsMonitoring the project capabilities and technical competency of OEMsDefining equipment and maintenance process specifications to ensure that suppliers and equipment comply with requirements, and that supply of equipment is standardisedSkills & Experience Required:A degree or equivalent in an accredited Engineering or Materials Science disciplineExperience of developing group wide / multi-site maintenance strategies including maintenance reporting systems and CMMSA qualification in Lean Manufacturing or similar equivalent qualifications combined with experience of CI tools and techniques such as Value Stream Mapping, Six Sigma, 5S, Standard Work , 5S, Kaizen Visual Management, or WCMDemonstrable experience of the planning and management of engineering projectsExperience of developing and managing teamsNEBOSH Certified, desirableHighly developed literacy, numeracy and communication skillsKnowledge of Prince II is desirablePlease note: it is our policy to verify all relevant qualifications.
