Our customer focus is based on quality, service and consistency and our service-led ethos is one of the key drivers in the growth of our market share over the past 10 years.As our Finance Business Partner, you will focus on driving improved performance and cost controlbuilding, developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders within our Sales/Commercial and Operational teams. Analytically minded, you willact as conduit between Finance and the wider business, presenting financial data in a way that is understood by allcontributing to delivery of our must-win battles and key priorities. This role would suit a Management/Financial Accountant looking to progress into a more typical business partnering role - we will support and develop you to attain this, and you will join a well established, forward thinking, collaborative team as part of yourjourney.As Management Accountant/Finance Business Business Partner, you will:

  • Produce monthly management accounts with precise analysis and insights, including variance analysis and KPIs
  • Contribute to preparation of forecasts & budget for all elements of P&L, supporting control of Capital spend
  • Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations, preparation and review to identify and eliminate risk
  • Facilitate and participate in regular review meetings onsite with all stakeholders and budget holders to manage costs and advise on performance
  • Provide assistance and good practice training to our business on finance and internal controls
  • Supporting the annual statutory reporting process, implementing and monitoring financial controls across all departments and sites to ensure adherence

  • Ensure all monthly reporting is completed accurately and in accordance with company timetable and requirements
  • Ensure relevant business area & company meets profit requirements, challenging robustly but appropriately where required
In order to be successful in this role, you will:
  • Ideally hold or be working toward completion of a recognised accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA)
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
  • IT/systemsJDE, Hubble & Cognos preferable with a strong understanding of Excel (Macro knowledge is desirable)
  • Possess a strong understanding of trading conditions, key business drivers and stock demand/supply processideally within a Manufacturing environment, though this is not essential
  • Show understanding of financial systems and controls in line with SOX compliance
  • Be comfortable challenging status-quo when required, with demonstrable influencing and negotiation skills
