We are looking for a Data Engineer to join us on a full time and permanent basis. As our Data Engineer you will play a key role in the development and delivery of the Data strategy across our Group,you will be joining an excellent Data & Business Intelligence team and will be supporting in the evolvement of our Data warehouse solution and BI applications review, implementation and rollout. This is a hybrid role therefore regular attendance to our groupoffice will be required and occasional business travel to group locations maybe required from time to time.As our Data Engineer, you will:Support the design, development and deployment of data solutionsAssist in the design and production of any necessary supporting documentation and trainingPresent information through reports and visualisations with the creation of datasets, operational reports and dashboardsWork with the Data team and key business stakeholders to create reliable; best-practice focused data solutionsSupport on influencing company Data solutions to delivery automated process and enhance analysis capabilitiesProvide day to day support and administration for users of reporting systems and BI platformsAssist in the support and development of existing systems, processes and recommend improvementsIn order to be successful as our Data Engineer, you will:Be a self-starter who is able to work under their own initiativeHave experience in leading Data and Reporting solutions, such as Cognos, Power BI, Qlik Sense, Tableau or similar alternativesHave strong SQL Server SSIS, Stored procedures and TSQLexperienceHold previous data experience in a Sales and Distribution environment with a strong understanding of related business processes would be beneficialDemonstrate excellent analytical skills and a logical approach to problem solvingPlease note: it is our policy to verify all relevant qualifications.
