THE OPPORTUNITY: Macildowie are currently recruiting for a 1st Line Help Desk Support Officer working for a business based in Ibstock. 1st Line Support Technician will be responsible for providing technical support across the business. Acting as the first point of contact forthe IT Service Desk on a day-to-day basis and providing first line support to all internal and external users via remote support.This is a full time permanent position which is office based.THE ROLE & YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: To be part of a support team and look after over four hundred users in multiple locationsTaking inbound calls from internal users with technical issues providing a high level of customer service.Maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries.To ensure all calls are raised with detailed information of user issues accurately on the Helpdesk system.Escalating any complex incidents to 2nd and 3rd Line Support.Investigation and diagnosis of IT faults and problems.Develop an understanding of mobile device technology and its use within the workplace.New user and leavers activities.Configuration and Administration of mobile device technology i.e., Apple / iPad / Samsung.IT department Admin, ensuring all documents are kept up to date. Undertake all required non-technical IT administration.Assist the IT team with upcoming and ongoing projects, general tasks, gain knowledge and work as part of a support teams to support all users and infrastructure.Provide on call weekend cover on a Rota basis.EXPERIENCE SOUGHT IN THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE: In order to be considered you must have the following:Full drivers licenceExcellent communication skills1st Line Support ExperienceBasic Windows 10, Active Directory and Office 365 experienceMacildowie is a specialist recruitment consultancy with a rich history of enhancing the careers of professionals across the Midlands and the Northern Home Counties.
